The Roberts Law Group, PLLC in North Carolina's capital and "City of Oaks," Raleigh, is headed by Patrick Roberts, a very experienced criminal defense lawyer with years of prosecutorial experience. Some of the best training a defense attorney can get is to be found at the District Attorney's offices.  Patrick Roberts has handled hundreds of criminal cases in three North Carolina counties on both sides of the courtroom — as a former Assistant District Attorney and now representing the accused.

Extended Hours

We understand the difficulties faced by individuals and families who have been impacted by the criminal law process, and we know that it's sometimes difficult for people to visit our offices during the usual work week. We're happy to provide appointment times beyond the normal Monday-to-Friday nine-to-five hours: in the evening, on Saturdays, and on Sundays if necessary.

About Patrick Roberts

Defense attorney Patrick Roberts, a graduate of Duke University School of Law, has extensive contacts throughout North Carolina's criminal justice system. His experience includes years of trial work as a prosecutor.  As an Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Roberts handled a wide variety of cases, including sexual assaults, armed robberies, impaired driving cases, domestic violence cases, juvenile cases and drug trafficking cases.   He understands how prosecutors prepare their cases and routinely defends clients charged with serious felony matters in state and federal courts.  Mr. Roberts is a member of the Wake County bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina.
